ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Oles captured two first place finishes at the University of Saint Thomas Friday night.
Senior
Megan Holmes was victorious in the 800 with a time of 2:26.68, and the 4x200 relay team of
Lillie Meakim,
Madison VanWylen,
Jordan Lutz and
Dani Larson finished in first with a time of 1:50.68, edging out the relay team from Hamline, who finished 16 hundredths back in a time of 1:50.84.
Larson also added a pair of second place finishes in the high jump with a jump of 1.58 meters and in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.59. Â Lutz ran to a second place finish in the 1000 meters in a time of 3:04.09 followed closely by teammate
Mary Eide in 4th who crossed the line in 3:08.45.
Masha Grizhebovskaya jumped a distance of 4.73 meters in the long jump to post a third place finish, and a pack of Oles led by
Joy Claypoole finished 4th, 5th, 6th and 9th in the 3000m run
The Oles will return to the track next Friday in Northfield at the St. Olaf Invitational.
