PELLA, Iowa - The St. Olaf men's cross country team had five runners in the top 19 in a team victory at the NCAA Division III Central Region Championships on Saturday at Central College to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships next weekend. 

Jake Campbell was third, Paul Escher ninth, Keith Ketola 15th, Paul Timm 16th and Calvin Lehn 19th for the Oles. 

Host Central College was second to earn the region's other bid while Loras and Wartburg were third and fourth. Gustavus was the MIAC's next-best finisher in sixth place.

St. Olaf was runner up at the NCAA's last season after capturing the school's first NCAA Division III Championship in 2013.
