NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team finished third in a five team meet Saturday afternoon at Carleton College.

Madison VanWylen won the 400m, Emma Fulton was victorious in the pole vault, and Jordan Lutz finished first in the 1000m to add 10 points each to the Oles final team score of 114.  VanWylen crossed the line in 1:01.88 to hold off runner-up Reilly Simon of Carleton College.  Lutz led a tight pack of three Oles to win her event in 3:10.93.  Kelsey Coulter (3:11.15) and Mary Eide (3:11.30) followed in second and third.

Megan Holmes finished in the top three in both of her events by placing second in the mile with a time of 5:08.61 and third in the 800m run with a time of 2:22.68.

Competing as the lone Ole in the pentathalon, Dani Larson finished second with a point total of 3172.

The Oles will compete again on Saturday at the University of Minnesota.
