ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team took home the top three finishes in the 5000 meter run as they competed in the Tommie Twilight on Wednesday evening.

Amy Waananen took first in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:01.46, followed by teammates Micheala Banz (18:14.89) and Kelsey Coulter (18:32.45) to round out the podium.

St. Olaf sprinters Madison VanWylen and Abby Stets placed third and fourth in their respective races. VanWylen coming in at 12.66 in the 100 meter dash, while Stets finished with a time of 26.06 in the 200. Â

Megan Holmes finished fifth for the Oles in the 1500 with a time of 4:43.00. Holmes was trailed by Josephine Brekke who took eighth with a time of 4:46.14.
St. Olaf will compete next on Thursday in the MIAC Heptathlon hosted by Carleton.
