NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Jake Campbell led the new 2015 St. Olaf Cross Country squad at the team's annual Alumni 5k on Saturday morning.

Campbell recorded a time of 15:28.4 over the five kilometer course, and led the Oles to a 17-45 victory over the alumni competitors.  Calvin Lehn, returning from an injury last fall, posted a quick 15:31.4 to finish second.

The top alumni finisher was recent 2015 St. Olaf grad and captain of the 2014 team, Phil Meyer.  

Joe Coffey, Paul Escher, and Keith Ketola rounded out the top 5 for the Oles.

The Oles open their 8k racing season next weekend with the St. Olaf Invitational.
