MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf men's cross country team sent its first years to run in the Augie Open 5K on Saturday. The Ole rookies finished second in the three-team meet.

Thomas Lerdall was the Oles' top finisher, with a fifth place run in 16:33.5. Justin Furcich was seventh while Andrew Plumb and Alec Kirtley were ninth and 10th.
