ResultsNORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team competed in a triangular meet against Hamline and Carleton on Friday night.
Masha Grizhebovskaya led the Oles in the 60 meter hurdles with a third place finish in a time of 10.01. Â
Madison VanWylen finished fifth in the event with a finals time of 10.21.
Competing in the mile, 1000 and the 4x400 for St. Olaf was senior captain
Morghen Philippi who placed third in the mile (5:19.57), first in the 1000 (3:15.26) and was a member of the fourth place 4x400 meter relay team (4:40.9). Also racing on the team with Philippi was
Lydia Downs,
Lindsey Kemp and
Anne Gaspers. St. Olaf also finished second in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:16.20. That relay team was made up of Madison Van Wylen,
Naomi Hesse,
Allison Trezona and
Suzie Hoops.Â
Emma Fulton won the pole vault with a vault of 3.05 meters, and
Sarah Bond finished second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.43 meters. Â
Hamline University won the meet with a team score of 126 points. Â St. Olaf finished second with a score of 91.
The Oles host another triangular meet next Friday against Gustavus and Bethel University.
