COLFAX, Wis. - The No. 9 St. Olaf men's cross country team was third at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on Friday behind Joe Coffey's seventh-place finish and a pack of Oles that were inside the top 25. 

Coffey came in at 25:30.7, just outside a foursome from UW-Eau Claire, which won the meet going away. The Oles' Alex Berhe (22nd), Keith Ketola (21st) and Jack Henschel (24th) were within three seconds of each other, while Thomas Lerdall was 29th (26:23.4).

UW-La Crosse was second in the meet. The MIAC had three other schools running in the meet, Saint John's (sixth), Macalester (10th) and Bethel (11th).

St. Olaf competes next at the Jim Drews Invitational on October 15 in La Crosse, Wis.
