ResultsNORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's track and field team is in second place after the second day of the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Carleton College.
Paul Escher led the way for the Oles winning the mile run with a time of 4:14.70.
Joe Coffey finished right after teammate Escher with a 4:15.65 time.
Paul Timm hammered a third place finish in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:00.24.
James McFarlin was fifth in the 400 meter dash while
Kevin Skrip was sixth.
Sean Bjork finished second in the 800 meter run.
The distance medley relay team of
William Anderson,
Joe Pugh, Ryan Van Mechelen and
Tayler Aarness took home third place finishing with a time of 10:32.05.
First year
Eli Knutson was sixth in the heptathlon with a total score of 4,146.
St. Olaf finished the day second to St. Thomas with a total of 54.0 points. The MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships continues tomorrow with field events starting at 11:45 a.m.
