St. Olaf women fourth after second day at MIACs

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The women's track and field day sits in fourth place after day two of the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Carleton College. 

The distance medley relay team of Abbey Schnaith, Hayli Marquette, Suzie Hoops and Piper Bain took home a MIAC title after finishing with a time of 12:39.28. 

Madison Van Wylen, who won the pentathlon yesterday, finished fourth in the high jump and fifth in long jump. Abby Stets was third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.34. 

Senior Morghen Philippi was fifth in the 5,000 meter run and Michaela Bolden was fourth in the weight throw. 

Competition will continue tomorrow starting with field events at 11:45 a.m.
