ResultsNORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's track and field team finished second at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon with a team score of 84.Â
The Oles had nine top-ten finishes on the last day of MIACs, two coming in the 3,000 meter run with
Jake Campbell winning by a landslide with a time of 8:19.65.
Paul Timm finished sixth in the same event with a time of 8:42.28.
Tayler Aarness just missed the top ten and finished 11th with a time of 8:48.32.
Four more top-ten finishers came in the 1,000 meter run.
Paul Escher finished second with a time of 2:30.60, Sen Bjork finsished right behind him in third,
Jacob Eggers was sixth and
Joe Coffey finished ninth.
The 4x400 meter relay team of
James McFarlin,
Justin Elstad, Joey Pugh and
Kevin Skrip finished second just behind Bethel with a time of 3:21.70. Skrip also finished second in the 600 meter dash with a time of 1:21.52.Â
Nick Woods rounded out the field events finishing fifth in the shotput.Â
