DES MOINES, Minn. - Paul Escher and Jake Campbell finished second and third in the seeded collegiate 1500 at the prestegious Drake Relays on Saturday afternoon.

Escher finished just .01 seconds behind David Timlin of Indiana State.  Escher's final time was 3:45.29, and Campbell was less than a second behind in 3:45.77.

Just last week, Campbell broke the St. Olaf school record in the 1500 at the Phil Esten Challenge in La Crosse with a time of 3:44.74, and the two were very close to that time again on Saturday.
