NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Eli Knutson finished tenth in the MIAC decathlon final hosted by Carleton College on Thursday and Friday.

Knutson amassed 5469 total points over the ten events, with his highest scoring events being the 400 meter dash (51.32) and the 100 meter dash (12.00) where he grabbed 755 and 651 points respectively.

Christopher Frick also competed for St. Olaf, but was left out of the final scoring after missing five events.  

The winner of the decathlon was Carleton's Jack Buckner, who held off runner-up Connor O'Neil of St. Thomas by a final score of 6344 to 6340.

The MIAC Championships continue next weekend at Saint John's University.
