Ryan Bowles announced on Friday.
Hatting spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Division II Augustana University in Sioux Falls. Hatting was a two-time captain at Luther where she transitioned from a short stop in high school to an all-region catcher for the Norse, who reached the NCAA tournament each of her four seasons. She earned four letters as Luther won three regular season and four postseason Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships.Â
"I am thrilled to have this opportunity at St. Olaf, to compete at the highest level, and to be a part of such a welcoming community," Hatting said. "I am very honored to work for such a prestigious college and have the opportunity to mentor the whole student-athlete. I am excited to create a culture of success, both on and off the field."
A native of LeMars, Iowa, Hatting served as an assistant softball coach for Gehlen Cathoic School from 2011-14.Â
