CORTLAND, N.Y. - St. Olaf head women's cross country coach,
Chris Daymont will be inducted to the SUNY Cortland C-Club Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 17, the athletic department announced Wednesday.
Daymond earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Cortland in 1975 and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Syracuse University in 1976.
She competed in track and field for two seasons (1974-75) in dashes, hurdles, middle distance and relays, setting numerous school records. She also competed in one season each of basketball and club cross country.
While at Cortland, Daymont also qualified for the first-ever Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) outdoor track and field championships in 1975.
