Rewers, Wall, Reid earn All-MIAC honors

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Sophomore Lauren Rewers and first years Lexi Wall and Summer Reid were named All-MIAC on Wednesday after helping St. Olaf to a 7-4 mark in conference play. 

Rewers led the MIAC in conference play in kills (3.71/set) and had 2.37 digs/set.  Rewers had double-digit kills 21 times this season and a season-best 22 in a five-set loss at Saint Ben's on Oct. 25. 

Reid was ninth in the league in kills (3.20/set) while hitting .215. She had 139 digs in MIAC play. Reid has posted double-digit kills in five of the last six outings.

Wall leads the MIAC in set assists overall (11.25/set) and in league play (11.05). She has 1,249 this season, which ranks 11th all-time at St. Olaf. 

There were 22 all-conference selections, with Oles accounting for three of the eight that were first years or sophomores.

St. Olaf defeated Bethel in four sets on Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the MIAC Playoffs. The fourth-seeded Oles travel to St. Thomas for the semifinal round on Thursday.
