NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team hosted the Ole Women's Invitational on Friday night at Tostrud Center.
Josefine Brekke,
Susan Hoops, and
Abby Stets won individually in the 1000, 600, and 200 days march respectively. Â Brekke ran 3:06.37 to win the 1K, leading teammate
Allison Trezona who finished third in 3:08.20.  Hoops won the 600 in 1:42.53, and Stets ran 26.28 to claim the top of the podium in the 200.
Jordan Lutz and
Mary Naas went 2 and 3 in the 800 meter run with times of 2:24.58 and 2:27.74. Â Naas was also the runner up in the mile with a 5:12.96.
In the 60 meter hurdles,
Mackenzie Schoustra took the bronze, running 9.63 in the finals.  Schoustra was also on the winning 4x400 meter team along with Stets, Hoops, and Lutz that finished in 4:06.95.
Meg Anderson won the high jump in a jump-off, clearing 1.52 meters, and the Oles picked up a sixth place finish from
Jessica Bentley in the shot with her throw of 10.64 meters.
The Oles race at the MIACÂ Indoor Championships next Friday and Saturday at St. Thomas.
