Day 1 Results
ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's track team is second out of 11 after the first day of MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held on Friday evening at Anderson Field House at the University of St. Thomas.
The Oles had two champions in
Joe Coffey who won the mile with a time of 4:15.71 and
Thomas Lerdall who took first in the 5,000 meter run in 15:19.04.Â
Keith Ketola was second in the 5,000 meter run and St. Olaf had five runners in the top 17 of the mile including Coffey and
Keith Ketola who was second.Â
Matthew Paal was second in the 60 meter hurdles. The distance medley team of
William Anderson, Joey Pugh,
Sean Lonergan and Coffey took secon as well.Â
Nick Woods was fifth in the weight throw with a finals distance of 15.93m.
St. Olaf will compete again tomorrow afternoon for the final day of MIAC Championships.
