Oles sixth after day one at MIACs

Day 1 Results

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team is sixth out of 12 teams after the first day of the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the Anderson Field house at the University of St. Thomas.

The Oles had top performances from Mary Naas, who was second in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:21.54 and Abby Stets who took third in the 400 meter dash with a finals time of 58.20.

Jena Moody and Jordan Lutz were sixth and seventh in the 800 meter run. Josefine Brekke took fifth in the mile and the St. Olaf distance medley team was third finishing with a time of 12:39.15.

The Oles will compete again tomorrow afternoon for the final day of the MIAC Indoor Championships.
