LA CROSSE, Wis. - At the second meet of the year, the St. Olaf women's track and field team competed at the Ashton May Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Daisy Richmond and Rebecca Walton ran the 3000 meter steeplechase, running times of 12:31.38 and 12:33.61 respectively.  In the 1500 meter race, Josefine Brekke led the Oles with an 11th place finish 4:52.72, Briana Paulsen was 15th (4:55.97), and Jamie Hoornaert was 16th (4:57.90).  

Abby Stets was the runner-up in the 400 meter dash, cruising to a season best of 57.53.  

In the pole vault, Corinna Brown Ton cleared 2.74 to finish 14th.  Also in the field events, Hannah Nordby and Katherine LeClaire threw 9.01 and 8.58 meters respectively.  

The 4x100 meter relay team anchored by Johanna Glasser finished in sixth with a time of 50.66.
