Three letters ech in basketball and gold...basketball captain, 1971...MVP; basketball, 1970 and '71; golf, 1969 and '71...All-Conference in basketball in 1969-71, All-Luthern in 1971, All-Tournament NCAA College Division Regional in 1969...awarded NCAA Athlete-Scholar Scholarship in 1971...has coached youth basketball and soccer teams...holds the M.D. degree from the University of Minnesota with work in pediatrics at Stanford University and Children's Hospital in Philadelphia and anesthesia at the University of Virginia...is currently assistant professor of pediatric anesthesiology at the University of Cincinnati.
