Duane M. Swenson was football co-captain and Most Valuable Player in 1958 after started as center and linebacker for three years. He was a member of the hockey team with three-year record of 31 wins, 7 losses. He earned a master’s degree in marketing at the University of Minnesota. Swenson worked 20 years in the retail home furnishing business. He is also active in Lutheran Church and community youth organizations.
