St. Olaf College Athletics

Elmer G. Fardal organized and played on the first St. Olaf basketball team to play an intercollegiate schedule. He also played on the first St. Olaf tennis team. He participated in the St. Olaf Band’s tour to Norway in 1906. Fardal was a banker for 47 years. He also Served numerous terms on church, school and town councils.
