St. Olaf College Athletics

Fred Aker '83 came to St. Olaf as a high school All-American in swimming from Reno, Nev. IN his first month of swimming at St. Olaf, Fred broke the school record in the 100 meter butterfly, and was conference champion during his four years at St. Olaf. He captured a combined eight All-American honors in the 100 meter butterfly, the 400-meter freestyle relay, and the 400-meter medley relay and was the first All-American in school history for swimming and diving.
