Geoffrey McCray was captain of the basketball team and holds the St. Olaf men’s basketball individual record of points scored in a single game with 46 against Gustavus during the 1975-76 season. He still holds the individual 1975-76 overall season record for field goals at 234 in 27 games. McCray serves on the Human Relations Commission for the City of Edina, coaches in the Edina Basketball Association, served as board member and resident director for Edina and Eden Prairie’s A Better Chance program, and sponsors local basketball and softball teams.
