James G. Kallas, Jr. earned four St. Olaf letters each in football, baseball and track. He led his team in scoring four years, owns longest run from scrimmage (99 yards against Luther in 1948). He was in Phi Beta Kappa and was a fulbright and Rockefeller Scholar. Kallas authored five books and other publications. He is also a member ALC board of world missions.
