St. Olaf College Athletics

John Nahorniak was All-Conference, All-American and MVP in football. In his senior year, he was named to the MIAC Championship team and the NAIA District 13 squad. He was quick, strong, and a great pass-rusher on blitzes. According to the defensive coach Jim Dimick, Nahorniak “was the best linebacker in his 27 years as a football coach.” Nahorniak keeps active volunteering and coaching teams in which his four sons participate.
