Karl B. Groth set 21 season and career records as a three-year letter winner in basketball. He was selected as Most Valuable Player all three years and was a captain for two. He was also a two-year letterman in baseball. He has been a coach, teacher and stockbroker in eastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota. Groth is now a branch office manager and senior vice president, Omaha office, Shearson/American Express. He is also a member of district four Business Conduct Committee of National Association of Securities Dealers. He is active in civic organizations and has served on the church council of two Lutheran congregations.
