St. Olaf College Athletics

Marshall B. Haugen won four letters each in golf and hockey and two in football. He won the Fredrik Schiotz award for outstanding freshman football players and was a senior Honor Athlete. Haugen coached and taught physical education at St. Olaf 1949-51. He also coached football, golf and baseball for ten years, and is now chairman of social students faculty at La Crosse Logan High School.
