Moira Petit was an All-American in the indoor and outdoor track 1500-meter run. She went to nationals all four years, twice on a team and twice as an individual qualifier. She remains on the indoor All-Time Top Ten list in five events and three times of the Outdoor All-Time Top Ten list. IN 1991, she was the MIAC champion, NCAA All-American, capturing ninth place. Petit ranks seventh of the all-time Ole list (17:54) in the 5K. She was named MCP of her teams in 1990 and 1991. Petit has an M.S. in exercise physiology and a Ph.D. in human kinetics.
