Natalie Siefer Overmann, the third-leading scorer in school history, was a two time All-MIAC selection for the Ole women’s basketball program. She is one of three 1,000-point scorers in school history with 1,054 and would have had collected more if not for a season- ending injury in her junior season. Since records were kept in the late 1980's, no player at St. Olaf has made more field goals (456) and she has the third-best scoring average since 1990 (12.7 ppg). Her rebounding numbers were equally impressive with 551 boards, good for fifth all-time at St. Olaf. She was a three-time letter winner and was named team MVP as a sophomore. She was a force on the Oles’ 1998-99 team that won a school record 19 games as a part of an 18-4 mark in MIAC play. In the three winters she played a full season, St. Olaf accumulated a 42-33 record. Natalie and her husband Jed reside in Shoreview, Minn., with daughter Nora.
