Otto N. Glesne earned St. Olaf letters in football in 1918, 1919, and 1920, the first three teams to play in intercollegiate competition. He was captain of the football team in 1920. He has been a physician since 1926. Glesne is the former president of the Iowa Medical Society and North Central Medical Conference. He is also a former member of the Iowa Board of Medical Examiners. He is a founding member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Glesne is also a church trustee.
