Pam Dommeyer Fliegel turned her three-sport letter winner college career into a career as a high school physical education and health teacher and varsity volleyball coach at Annandale (Minn.) High School. As a student, she was basketball’s most valuable player for three seasons and was named to the all-tournament and all-state teams. She competed in the tennis national tournament in 1978. In 1987 and 1988, she was named Coach of the Year by the Region 5A Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association, and in 1993, she received the Outstanding Educator Award.
