St. Olaf College Athletics

Paul Arvesen '48 was a two-sport standout at St. Olaf, even though a one-year stint in Navy during World War II cost him a year on the basketball floor and football field. After the war, he returned to quarterback the Ole football team and play guard for the basketball team. Arvesen earned four letters between football and basketball.
