St. Olaf College Athletics

Robert Torgerson, a two-time All-Conference baseball player, earned team MVP and Academic All-American honors in 1978.  He received the Outstanding Lutheran College Athlete Award as a co-captain of the 1979 team. He was named to the Blue key national Honor Society, and was a recipient of an NCAA post-graduate scholarship in 1979. Torgerson is currently an attorney and shareholder with Leonard, Street and Deinard Professional Association.
