Ruthie “Boo” Bjorlie Neuger, the first woman in St. Olaf history to earn 12 varsity letters.  She lettered in volleyball, basketball and softball during each of her four years at St. Olaf.  During her senior year she was a co-captain of the softball team and was named All-State in volleyball.  Neuger served at St. Olaf as an assistant volleyball, basketball and softball coach, and is presently assisting the women’s JV soccer team.  She is currently the director of children’s education at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield. She also stays active by coaching little league baseball and youth soccer.
