Steven Ashley was a three-sport star, lettering three years in football, two in basketball and four in track. He was the co-captain and most valuable player of the 1970 team. He was a three-time All-Conference defensive back with 21 career interceptions. He was a 220- and 440- yard conference champion. His 440 record still stands. He is now a senior vice president of St. Paul Bank. He is a board member for American Red Cross and St. Paul Winter Carnival.
