NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Augsburg College scored three unanswered goals in the second half to defeat St. Olaf 3-2 in a MIAC women's soccer game on Wednesday afternoon.
St. Olaf
(5-10-2, 4-5-1 MIAC)Â struck first with a goal from
Kajsa Brindley in the fifth minute of the match, and
Madison Van Wylen added a second in the 48th minute to give the Oles a 2-0 advantage. Â Augsburg
(13-4-0, 8-2-0 MIAC)Â tied the game at 2-2 with goals from Marie Fitzgerald and Carter Denison in the 61st and 70th minutes. Â Emily Gregg scored the winning goal for Augsburg off of a corner kick in the 76th minute.
Augsburg totaled eight shots on goal to the Oles' four.
St. Olaf will play again at home against Carleton College on Saturday.
