RIVER FALLS, Wis.-
Betsey Daly scored a game-high 20 points but the Oles let an early second half lead get away in a 56-48 loss at Wisconsin-River Falls Saturday afternoon.
St. Olaf (2-2, 0-0 MIAC) led by as many as six points with 16:37 to play in the second half and held a one point lead with 10:02 to play. River Falls (3-1, 0-0 WIAC) used a balanced attack to put away the Oles as all five starters scored at least eight points, led by Taylor Karge with 11.
Daly's 20 points are a career-high and she has now scored double figures in three straight games.
Woo Bandel added a team-high six rebounds.

The Falcons were whistled for 14 fouls compared to St. Olaf's 24, leading to a 23-7 free throw attempt advantage. River Falls made 73.9 percent (17-for-23) from the line while the Oles were 4-for-7 from the stripe.

St. Olaf was just 6-for-28 (21.4%) from beyond the arc in the loss.

The Oles return to action on Wednesday as they take their annual trip to Colorado. St. Olaf will play Colorado College in Colorado Springs on Wednesday before playing Regis University and Colorado School of Mines in Denver on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
