DENVER, Colo. - Division II Colorado School of Mines defeated St. Olaf 73-50 in the final round of Regis University's Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday at Regis Fieldhouse. 

Taylor Helbig had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Orediggers (4-1), who led 39-16 at the half. 

Afton Wolter had 20 points for St. Olaf (3-4). The Oles led by as many as seven early in the first half, but Mines used a 16-0 run to flip the lead in its favor. Betsey Daly added eight points while Woo Bandel had six, six rebounds and four assists in the loss. 

St. Olaf returns home for Wednesday's conference opener at Macalester at 5:45 p.m.
