NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Chelsey Bonsante and Jordan Sammons had 20 points each to lead four Hamline players in double figures in a 77-59 MIAC women's basketball win over St. Olaf on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.
St. Olaf (5-8, 2-4 MIAC) was led by
Hannah Lemberg, who had 11 points off the bench. HU (8-4, 3-3 MIAC), which made 12-of-21 from three point range, had 17 from Chloe Graves and 10 from Emily Behrman.Â
The Oles led early, 8-5 with 12:11 left in the first half before Hamline ran away. The Pipers used runs of 11-0 uin the first half and 17-3 to open the second half to lead by as many as 35 in the second frame.Â
St. Olaf struggled from long range in the first half, making just 1-of-15 while the Pipers were 6-of-11.Â
