Four Oles score in tie against Hamline

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Four Oles scored in a tie against Hamline University on Saturday night.

Karma Knutson scored a goal with 12 seconds remaining in the third period to tie the game at four.  Francesca Principe, Drue Engelman and Sara Lind also added goals earlier in the game.  Hamline's scoring attack was led by Jordan Verleye who tallied two goals, while Kelsey Rafferty and Haleigh Bolton each added a goal of their own.

St. Olaf (1-12-2, 0-6-2 MIAC) was outshot marginally by Hamline (3-10-2, 1-5-2 MIAC) with totals of 31 and 33 respectively.

On the power play, the Oles finished 1 for 8 while Hamline was slightly more effective scoring once in four opportunities.

The Oles will return to the ice to face MIAC rival Bethel University on Friday night.
