ST. PAUL, Minn. - Four Oles scored in a tie against Hamline University on Saturday night.
Karma Knutson scored a goal with 12 seconds remaining in the third period to tie the game at four. Â
Francesca Principe, Drue Engelman and
Sara Lind also added goals earlier in the game. Â Hamline's scoring attack was led by Jordan Verleye who tallied two goals, while Kelsey Rafferty and Haleigh Bolton each added a goal of their own.
St. Olaf (1-12-2, 0-6-2 MIAC) was outshot marginally by Hamline (3-10-2, 1-5-2 MIAC) with totals of 31 and 33 respectively.
On the power play, the Oles finished 1 for 8 while Hamline was slightly more effective scoring once in four opportunities.
The Oles will return to the ice to face MIAC rival Bethel University on Friday night.
