WINONA, MINN. - The St. Olaf women's soccer team lost to Saint Mary's University 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

St. Olaf's (3-7-4, 2-5-1 MIAC) Madison Van Wylen scored her fourth goal of the season in the loss, netting the goal in the first minute of the game. Van Wylen also led the team in shots with two.

Saint Mary's University (5-9-0, 3-5-0 MIAC) was led by Emily Loof who had three shots and one goal for the Cardinals.

SMU out shot the Oles 13-7, landing 10 and 5 shots on goal respectively in Saturday's contest.

St. Olaf will head to Waverly, Iowa on Wednesday night to take on Wartburg college.
