Molly Andrews scored the Ole's lone goal as the St. Olaf women's hockey team lost their second game of the weekend with a 3-1 result against Saint Mary's University on Saturday afternoon at the Northfield Ice Arena.
SMU scored twice within the first five minutes of the second period to take a 2-0 lead.
Andrews' goal made the score 2-1 just 30 seconds after SMU's second goal with an assist from Maddy Johnson. Jamie Henderson scored two of Saint Mary's three goals. McKenna Parent assisted both of Henderson's goals while scoring a goal of her own.
St. Olaf out shot SMU 27-21, forcing SMU keeper Marah Shields to make 26 saves.
Cassie Alexander made 18 saves for the Oles.
The St. Olaf women will travel to the University of Wisconsin River Falls on Tuesday, November 24th for a non-conference matchup.
