MOUNT VERNON, Iowa.- The St. Olaf softball team won one game and lost another on Sunday afternoon as they played Cornell College in a double-header at Mount Vernon, Iowa.
Game 1: St. Olaf 1, Cornell College 10Cornell College scored 10 runs with only eight hits, assisted by three errors from St. Olaf.
For Cornell, Kendra Christensen tallied two RBI's and two home runs, contributing four of Cornell's 10 runs.

Stephanie Borndale with a double hit right center.
Game 2: St. Olaf 9, Cornell College 6After losing their first game 10-1, the St. Olaf softball team rebounded to win 9-6, scoring five runs in the sixth inning.
The Oles were out-scored 6-1 after the first two innings, when Cornell scored three runs in both the first and second.
St. Olaf scored three runs in the third inning, with four walked batters assisting the runs scored.
In the sixth inning, St. Olaf took the lead after scoring five runs, making the score 9-6.

Alex Lopez had one RBI each in the inning as St. Olaf rallied to win the game.
