NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf softball team split a MIAC doubleheader with Carleton on Saturday afternoon at Carleton's Ele Hansen Field. St Olaf lost the first game 4-1 and won the second 8-1.

Carleton (9-22, 2-13 MIAC) scored all their run in the bottom of the first inning, produced by a string of walks and singles.

Sara Lind recorded the only RBI for St. Olaf (13-22, 8-9 MIAC), coming in the top of the second inning.

Brooke Paradise led the Oles at the plate going 2-for-3 in the loss.

Alex Lopez recorded six strikeouts in the win for St. Olaf, Lopez is now 5-11 on the season.

St. Olaf was led Jessica Bentley, driving in two runs while going 1-for-3 on the day.
St. Olaf will host the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday afternoon for another MIAC doubleheader.
