ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - The St. Olaf softball team split their final two games of the season with Saint Benedict's, winning the first 7-4, and losing the second 7-4.

Jessica Bentley led St. Olaf (15-24, 10-12 MIAC)to victory, hitting a two-run homerun in the top of the first inning. Bentley went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and one run.

Alex Lopez pitched a complete game for the Oles, striking out four batters.

Saint Ben's (21-18, 11-11 MIAC) Kim Lidstone produced three of the eight hits for the Blazers, going 3-for-4 in the loss.

Game Two: Saint Ben's 7, St. Olaf 4

Becky Gigstad had the hot bat for Saint Ben's in the second game, going 3-for-3 with five RBIs and a three-run home run.

St. Olaf's only run production came from the long ball, a solo home run by Stephanie Borndale in the second inning and a three-run shot by Brooke Paradise in the third.
