NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's hockey team was defeated by Gustavus 5-0 Saturday night at the Northfield Ice Arena.
Gustavus (6-7-4, 5-2-3 MIAC) scored in every period. Its last two goals were scored by Allison Eder-Zdechli.
Gustavus' defense was a force as it kept St. Olaf (1-15-1, 0-9-1 MIAC) to only 12 total shots. The Gusties ended the game with 33 total shots.
Xandi Swedberg led the Oles with four shots. Goalie
Mae Moris made 28 total saves, 12 in the first period.
The Oles will be on the road next at St. Catherine University on Friday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
