WINONA, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's hockey team defeated Saint Mary's University on Saturday afternoon.
St. Olaf was down 2-0 until
Jane Vezina scored at 15:12 in the second period. Vezina's goal was one of four total scored in the second period.
Megan Skelly brought St. Olaf's score to two with a goal assisted by
Hannah Forliti at 17:58.
Johanna Glaaser scored the tying and winning goals in the third period, the last one coming off of a power play and assisted by
Kiki Platek.
Cassie Alexander had 22 saves in goal for St. Olaf (2-5, 1-3 MIAC).
The Oles will travel to UW-River Falls on Tuesday.
