NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's hockey team lost a home game 2-0 against Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Wednesday night at Northfield Ice Arena.
Courtney Baugher scored first for Eau Claire (4-2, 0-0 WIAC) at 15:49 in the first period. Â The Oles had one power play in the first period, failing to tally a shot during the two minute penalty period. Â Sami Meister netted the second full strength goal at 11:11 in the second period.
For the game, St Olaf (1-2, 0-0 MIAC) and Eau Claire were both 0-3 on the power play.  In terms of total shots, The Oles fired 14 on goalie  Anna Veazey, who made all 14 saves.  The Blugolds had 28 total shots, with Ole goalie

Molly Anders and
Jane Vezina led the Oles in shots with three each, while
Hannah Forliti and
Becky Weingarten each totaled two in the game.
St. Olaf plays next on Friday night at home again in their first MIAC matchup of the year against Hamline University.
